Laganas

Laganas is located in the southeast of Zakynthos in Laganas Bay and is known for its kilometer-long sandy beach, which connects to Kalamaki Beach to the east. If there's one place on Zakynthos that’s known for partying, beach life, and adventure, it's Laganas. This town is the center of the island's nightlife and attracts numerous visitors each year seeking sun, sea, and entertainment. Laganas is the heart of Zakynthos' entertainment and nightlife. Laganas also consists of a large main road that runs perpendicular to the beach. There are side streets to the right and left of this road that lead to accommodations.

Laganas is easy to reach, whether by car, quad bike, moped, or similar. There are also bus services connecting Laganas to Kalamaki and the capital of Zakynthos. Parking is available along the streets. There are also larger parking lots, although these are chargeable.

Along the main street, you'll find numerous shops, including supermarkets, bakeries, souvenir shops, clothing stores, and jewelry stores. There are also numerous taverns serving traditional cuisine and fast food.

While in other towns it's difficult to find taverns, pubs, and nightclubs open at night, this is not the case in Laganas. The clubs stay open until the morning.

Laganas is the perfect place for travelers seeking entertainment without sacrificing the amenities and comfort of tavernas. The town offers a very good infrastructure with apartments and taverns, and the beach is within easy walking distance. During the day, the expansive sandy beach is ideal for relaxation.
