Bergdorf Keri

Keri is a picturesque little mountain village located at the southernmost tip of Zakynthos. In the sea, directly in front of the village, lies the Mizithres rock formation, a magnificent view, whether seen from Keri or from a motorboat. The village consists of several small, narrow streets and old houses.

Limni Keri is easy to reach, whether by car, quad bike, moped, or similar, although the narrow streets can be a bit challenging when encountering oncoming traffic. A few small parking spaces are available along the roads. A few supermarkets are located in the winding streets.

What Keri is also known for, however, is its impressive views. There are several tavernas along the main road, offering traditional cuisine and fast food, and promising a fantastic view towards the sunset. In the background, you can see the rock formations plunging steeply into the sea, illuminated in gold, yellow, and orange during sunset.

From Keri lighthouse, you can also enjoy breathtaking views of the Mizithres rock formation. Alternatively, you can take a short hike of about 10 minutes from there, which leads directly to another viewpoint. Just above the lighthouse, there is another viewing platform with views both towards Mizithres and north along the rocky coast.

Keri is the perfect place for travelers who want to enjoy peace and nature without having to forgo the amenities of tavernas and comfort. The town offers a good infrastructure with a few apartments and tavernas and short distances. Keri is isolated from the rest of the island's hustle and bustle, yet still has a lot to offer.
