Banana Beach is located in the southeast of the island near the town of Vassilikos. Compared to other beaches of Zakynthos, it is rather atypical. There are beach chairs and parasols as far as the eye can see, beach bars with drinks service and water sports on offer. So it is very commercialized compared to the other beaches on Zakynthos. But there is one positive thing: there are numerous free, shady parking spaces.

Even away from all the hustle and bustle, the golden sandy beach invites you to linger and the crystal clear water is worth swimming. Unlike the bay of Laganas, this beach is not visited by turtles, which is why water sports such as parasailing, water skiing, windsurfing, jet skiing, etc. are allowed here.
